Patio now looks far better. Not sure the before and after photos convey the same impact that seeing it in real life has. Cleaning with the pressure washer is a mindless task taking about 15 to 18 hours in total. Glad it's done for the season.

The area behind the garage was significantly overgrown, not helped by a very large ivy covered branch from the cherry tree which had fallen. Much improved - more work required.

Greenhouse now planted up. Hopefully chillies, tomatoes, cucumbers and butternut squashes will be harvested later in the year... |
Having exited the world of full time work, a new era stretches out ahead of me. This is a blog of my goals and aspirations, my successes and failures, tracking them and being publicly accountable. Feel free to explore or ignore. I eagerly look forward to comments and feedback.
Initial Garden Enthusiasm
As always, I think I'm going to achieve more than I actually do. Despite many competing interests I actually managed to spend several hours in the garden this week and get some help from Tazmin too. Significant improvements were made in cleaning the patio and sorting out the green house, but many other areas still need work.
